80-yr-old woman to get ration card back at Ramnagar

Ramnagar: Corporator Srinivas Reddy appealed to the officials of civil supplies to sanction a ration card for 80-year-old woman. The woman S Narsamma, lost her son and daughter-in-law in different accidents three years ago.

Since then, she has been looking after her grandchildren Sukhesh and Sakshi. She has been depending on pension, the only means of livelihood. But officials abruptly cancelled her ration card, said the corporator.

Moved by her condition, residents approached the corporator who took Narsamma to the civil supplies office and explained the situation to the officer Balaraju. The officer assured to sanction the card. TRS senior leaders Prakash Reddy, Shaymkumar, Vivek and others were present.
