Abdullapurmet: Enforce Nirbhaya Act, demands Student Federation of India

Abdullapurmet: The Student Federation of India (SFI) activists staged a protest on Vijayawada Highway here on Sunday, demanding implementation of the Nirbhaya Act.

SFI Telangana Girls Convener Gangamani expressed ire over the government not taking action against the accused in George Memorial School student's rape case.

She criticised the government for not taking preventing measures against those taking advantage of women and girls. SFI district president Shankar, division secretary P Jagan, Mandal president Gunde Shiva Kumar, Praveen, Shiva Lingam, Arun, Sai Kumar, Suresh and others were present.
