Bad road irks commuters

Ranigunj: Commuters are facing hardships to travel from the road at Ranigunj, as it is dotted with potholes. Due to recent downpour, the road has also become very slippery.

T Vijay, a local, said, "Following recent rains, the road has become slushy and very slippery. That the problem has reached its extreme level is evident in the hardships faced by people in commuting on this stretch."

The locals over here complained to authorities concerned several times about this perennial problem and also urged them to lay a proper road in this area, but no step has been initiated yet.
