BC bodies to felicitate Minister Kamalakar

Basheerbagh: A meeting of BCs' associations will be held on November 9 at Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium, Nampally, to felicitate State BC Welfare Minister Gangula Kamalakar and to introduce the associations to him.

This was stated by Telanana BC Sadikaratha Sangham president Kovvur Bhaskar Rao and working president Dr. Konda Devayya, while addressing the media in Press Club here. They released a wall-poster on the meeting.

They along with general secretary Kasthuri Jayaprasad expressed happiness over a BC being made a Minister. They stated that BC communities in the State were with Kamalakar. BCs should strengthen his hands.

The newly-formed association leaders stated that it would act as a bridge between the government and BC caste organisations. It would aim to coordinate the activities of BC caste organisations and unite them for taking up a struggle, sans political affiliations, to solve the problems of BC communities.

Among the association leaders present at the press meet were joint secretary Chirukili Shankar, treasurer Chintala Rajendra Prasad, advisory council members, MBC chairman S Sudarshan Rao, members Satyaprasad and Krishna Pujari.
