BJP manifesto for GHMC election assures to offer free travel to women
BJP manifesto for GHMC elections 2020: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in its GHMC election manifest assured stated that it would provide free travel to the women, free covid-19 tests for all. The manifesto was released by the former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday.
The manifesto also says the scrapping of Land Regularisation Scheme (LRS), Rs 25,000 to each one of flood-affected families, free power to all domestic consumer who utilizes less than 100 units of power in GHMC area, one lakh houses to poor in GHMC area.
Devendra Fadnavis said that the TRS government failed to construct and hand over the double bedroom houses, so the BJP decided to give away one lakh houses to the poor. "The BJP government has built 10 lakh rural and 5 lakh urban houses for the poor in Maharashtra," he added.
The manifesto also includes free wi-fi to all the slums and SC colonies in the city, no charges for permission to construct houses within 125 square yards of land, free 24-hours drinking water supply.
Union Minister for state home affairs Kishan Reddy, BJP national general secretary Bhupendra Yadav, BJP state president Bandi Sanjay and others were present.
