Corporator Alakunta Saraswati offers bonam in temple

Tarnaka: Local Corporator Alakunta Saraswati on Tuesday offered a 'bonam' in the Pochamma temple, Lalapet. She worshipped the deity with a wish that residents of her division are hale and hearty.

Leaders of caste-based organisations in Lalapet said many development works were being taken up in the division under the stewardship of Sarawati. Devotees felicitated her for arranging the approach road to temple.

Among those who accompanied Saraswati during the visit to the shrine included Vanjari Muthayya, Mallesh Yadav, Venkatesh Yadav, Narsimha Reddy, Yadayya, Lingam, G Balayya, Mallikarjun, Vanjari Venkatesh, Komarayya, Kiran Goud, G M Ramesh, Suresh.
