CPI demands cancellation of elections in Old Malakpet

With the wrong symbol being printed on the ballot paper, the CPI leaders demanded cancellation of elections in Old Malakpet. The symbol of CPI party was wrongly printed at the two polling stations in Old Malakpet division which led to the halt of polling. The party demanded cancellation of elections in Old Malakpet and urged to rearrange the elections without any mistakes.

Tension in Patancheru division

Tension mounted at the polling centre in Chaitanya colony of Patancheru division when Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, son of Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy attacked a BJP leader Narsingh.

BJP leaders and workers rushed to the place after learning the incident. However, Vishnu Vardhan Reddy was taken away by his family. The police also rushed to the place to prevent any untoward incident and shifted the BJP worker Narsingh to Patancheru police station.
