Dark alleys, bumpy roads bane of Premnagar

Amberpet: The odd non-functional street lights in Prem Nagar has become a cause for concern for the Residents. Dark alleys and uneven roads compound problems the residents have reportedly complained to the officials in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) but to no avail.

Those living in houses adjacent to the road say is difficult to step out of the house after dark. The uneven roads and cars driving by using their headlights on high beam making it even more inconvenient to see through a distance.

"The road from CPL Church line to Gandhi statue has no street lights after dark it is very difficult to commute through the road. There are many people who go for morning walks or come back from their work in the evening are attacked by dogs and even sometimes robbed.

There have been few accidents also the road is uneven and the cars use high-beam lights making the visibility zero. We request the civic authorities to look into this problem and replace the lights and also repair the roads," said a local resident.
