Gayathri College hostel building seized

Chanda Nagar: Chanda Nagar Deputy Commissioner Dr Yadagiri Rao issued notices to Sri Gayathri College management which has been running hostel building for the past eight years without trade licence, asking the management to pay Rs 37,52,955 as trade licence fees.

When the Deputy Commissioner went to hand over the notice to the management on Thursday, the staff behaved harshly with him. Rao said that notices were issued in the month of June. The college management took permissions to run hostels in three-floor building but constructed five-floor building illegally, and, therefore, it was seized, he added.
