Counting of votes for GHMC election begins
Counting of votes for GHMC election began at 8 am on Friday across 30 centres in 150 divisions under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
Hyderabad GHMC Election Results 2020: Counting of votes for GHMC election began at 8 am on Friday across 30 centres in 150 divisions under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. For every round, as many as 14,000 votes will be counted.
Around 150 halls have been arranged for the vote counting and each hall has 14 tables and 31 observers will be monitoring the counting process.
The result of Mehdipatnam division will be announced first and Mailardevpally in the last. The final result will be announced around 5 pm. The ballot boxes will be counted in two phases.
The election commission has appointed 8,152 staff for the vote counting. Surveillance camesras have been set up at all the counting centres.
