Mudra Society donates Rs 1 cr to PM National Relief Fund

Barkatpura: Mudra Agriculture Skill Development Multi State Cooperative Society announced donation of Rs 1 crore to PM National Relief Fund. The society chairman Thippineni Ramdas Appanaidu announced the donation here at the main office of the society on Sunday.

Ramdas said that he would be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi next week and hand him over the SBI cheque bearing number 744290 of Rs 1 crore. The society's legal advisor and former judge B Chandra Kumar and CEO of national cooperative union of India S Sathynarayana would be among those who would be meeting the Prime Minister.

The PM, who has been striving to take the nation ahead and laying special focus on national security, needs to be supported at this juncture, he said. Economic reforms such as demonetisation, GST and others have begun giving fruits and the nation has become one of the six richest nations in the world, he said.

Lauding the central government initiatives to uplift poor and downtrodden people, Ramdas said that the Central government schemes such as PM Kisan Yojna and PM Shram Yogi Mandhan have been beneficial to many sections of population.
