Karate students presented black belts

Barkatpura: Black belt presentation ceremony was held at GVR Karate Academy here on Monday.

Rangareddy district second additional judge VV Sheshu Babu, PRC member Mohammad Rafat Ali, High Court advocate Ashok Kumar, associate director of Dr Reddy's Labs Malladi Srikanth, GVR Karate Academy director Dr GS Gopal Reddy and Ramkrishna Reddy presented the black belts and certificates to the students who cleared black belt exam.

The students who passed in black belt exam Sai Prakash, Tejasri, Jahnavi, Charita, Revanth, Rohan, Tejas, Shiny, Ghana Santhoshini, Advaith Reddy, Meghana, Akashdeep and Sakethram were presented with black belts and certificates.

In Black First Don segment, students Pankaj Kumar, Viplav, Prasanna, Pranay and, Aman Preetham were also presented with belts and certificates.

Speaking on the occasion, judge Sheshu Babu advised people to learn martial arts as it enhances one's physical and mental endurance.

Karate not only keeps one fit but also helps in keeping away mental stress and diseases in the current busy lives, he added.

Narsing Rao, Kareem, Raj Kumar, Mahender, Sarvar, Tulja Ram, Mahitha, black belt students, instructor and others were present during the ceremony.
