OU students demand amenities in hostels

Osmania University: The students, under the leadership of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), staged a protest in front of the administrative building here on Friday, demanding solutions to various problems faced by them in the university.

They expressed ire by stating that there are no basic amenities in the hostels. They demanded appointment of regular vice chancellor and to constitute an executive committee.

Their other demands include filling up of non-teaching posts and hostel facilities. ABVP leaders Sri Hari, Praveen, Suman, Raghavender, Yella Swamy, Ramesh, Jeevan and others were present on the occasion.
