OU students, jobless slam KCR govt
Osmania University: Students of OU and the unemployed youth on Sunday celebrated the State Formation Day on the premises of Arts College. They lashed out at Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for 'ignoring the wishes of student martyrs.'
Among the participants were Unemployed Front chairman Chanagani Dayakar and PDSU president D Ranjith. They garlanded the Martyrs Memorial, along with several other students.
Dayakar and Ranjith found fault with KCR for remaining indifferent on many incidents, including the suicides of 23 Intermediate students and for not consoling the families of Hajipur murder victims.
They alleged that KCR was not any showing interest in solving people's problems, as much as in 'purchasing' MLAs. The CM was also accused of not filling the vacant posts during the last five years.
The leaders warned that the student community would revolt against KCR, drawing inspiration from the sacrifices of martyrs. Among those present were student leaders B Swamy Goud, N Venkatesh, M V Guna, G Ashok, N Rakesh, Dinesh and Prashanth.
