Sewage overflows at Bolarum colony

Bolarum: The residents of Railway Employees Colony at Bolarum are facing serious hardships owing to overflow of sewage water, which has been causing problems to the locals commuting through this area.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Tuesday, G Mahesh, a local, said that every day, they see the stagnating sewage water on the road because of the faulty construction of the sewage chamber. The frequent blockage of the pipeline is a perennial problem over here, he added.

The entire area of Railway Employees Colony has turned into a cesspool due to the overflow of sewage water. Due to this, commuters and motorist face severe inconvenience.

The locals over here requested the concerned authorities to construct the inner manual chamber because of the poor construction of sewage chambers that lead to frequent blocking in the pipeline. The officials should take this issue seriously and clean the sewage water and also improve the drain system of this area, urged the residents.
