Steel bridges coming up at a cost of 426 cr
Hyderabad: Steel bridges are going to be experienced by Hyderabadis soon. In spite of many measures by the Government of Telangana, there is no change in traffic problems in Hyderabad. As part of Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP) programme works, new bridges and underpass works have started in the city. Steel bridges are a part of it and will be constructed at RTC Cross Roads and Nalgonda Cross Roads.
Bridge from Indira Park to VST
A 4-lane bi-directional elevated corridor will spawn from Indira Park to VST main road crossing NTR Stadium Junction of length 2631 m and 16.61 m width. The bridge is being constructed with an outlay of Rs 350 crore and covers five junctions: Indira Park Junction, Ashok Nagar Junction, RTC Cross Roads, Baghlingampally and VST X Roads.
From Ram Nagar to Baghlingampally
A 3-lane bidirectional grade separator from Ram Nagar to Baghlingampally crossing VST main Road Junction at 2nd level and passing through the Indian Hume Pipe Co. Ltd land and Vazir Sultan Tobacco land. It is of 900 m length and 13.61 m width. The bridge is being constructed with an amount of Rs 76 crore and covers two junctions. VST and Baghlingampally are the junctions covered.
