Telangana State govt downplaying dengue menace: BJP MLA T Raja Singh
Afzalgunj: Following the reports of deteriorating health conditions in the ci, Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh visited Osmaina General Hospital to inquire about the dengue and viral fever cases and demanded the State Government to take immediate action before it turns into a scourge.
Singh pointed out that while the government has been downplaying the dengue menace in Telangana, two more deaths were confirmed in Hyderabad by Wednesday.
"530 cases of dengue have been confirmed in the state in the last 25 days. Hyderabad alone has recorded 372 cases of dengue till August. But, the government officials say the actual numbers could be much higher.
However, the government has been downplaying the severity of the issue and claims that the number of dengue cases is less compared to previous years," he said. Later, he demanded the government to provide all kind of facilities in all the State-run hospitals as early as possible.
