Bharath Bandh gets mixed response at Vijayawada and Guntur, CPI stages protests

Bharat bandh call given by opposition parties trade unions and farmers associations against the farm laws made union government evoked mixed response in Vijayawada and Guntur on Tuesday. Left parties staged a protest at the Lenin center in Vijayawada demanding the Union government to withdraw the farm laws immediately. Before that the Left parties staged a protest near the Pandit Nehru Bus station. The APSRTC has cancelled the services in the morning. Most educational institutions declared holiday.

Mixed response for bandh call given by opposition parties against the farm laws passed by the Central government in Guntur. All the private education institutions were closed and extended support to the bandh.Petrol bunks were opened. Auto rickshaws were plying.

CPI leaders led by its district secretary Jangala Ajay Kumar stopped the RTC buses at NTR Bus Station in Guntur.He raised slogans against anti-people policies of the BJP government at Center.
