Warangal: Responding swiftly to a call to '100', the Blue Colts, who keep a round-the-clock vigil and reach crime spot within no time, and the Government Railway Police have on Tuesday saved the life of a youth, who tried to end his life by jumping before a running train. The incident occurred late on Monday night near Warangal.

According to police, Bandi Sravan, a resident of Govindarajula Gutta colony, who is working with the water works department in Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC), had an altercation with his mother last night. He left the home and made a WhatsApp video call to his close relative. Sravan told him that he was ending his life.

Following which Sravan's relative alerted the police by dialling 100. The Blue Colts team of the Intejargunj Police Station and the Railway police who swung into action launched a search for Sravan. They rescued Sravan who laid on a track to end his life.
