There are various crops grown in different seasons. In Winter, mostly all the vegetables can be cultivated due to the availability of the cold conditions that helps the plants to get that necessary nutrient from the soil and on the other hand with the adequate sun in the day would help in the photosynthesis thus making the crops grow.

Vegetables like Cauliflower, leafy veggies, lady's finger, Brinjal, tomatoes and other fruits can be cultivated at the backyard. Apart from those, Mirch can also be grown in this season. As the winters have not enhanced so far, it is the right time for the learners to sow the seeds at their home so that the crop gets enough strength as the Winter progresses.

The measures need to be taken while sowing the seeds because, due to rains the soil might have become stiff and hard, which will not serve the cause as the plants cannot survive with on hard ground due to lack of oxygen. So it is mandatory to plough the sand every 15 days to fetch the oxygen to the crops.

Coming to the precautions to be taken to minimise the effects of the microorganisms, which will damage the crops, we need to water the plants properly and look for the unwanted weeds accumulated at the roots of the plant. The microorganisms should be removed out with patience. Plants need to be watered depending on the amount of sand used and the due factor in the sand due to the Winter so that the crops get enough strength and nutrients.
