Growing flowers or other small plants have been a hobby for the people living the cities to enhance the look of their house with the greenery. But, nowadays, people are going for cultivating crops at home, which is termed as terrace gardening. It is quite common for using chemicals while growing plants. But these terrace gardening is done with the minimum usage of chemicals mostly in an organic manner. Srujana who hails from Uppal has made everyone go crazy over her idea where she has been cultivating crops at her terrace. Moreover, she is said to be transporting the vegetables to the foreign where her son resides.

Srujana of Hyderabad cultivates ayurvedic plants for her husband With the usage of chemicals in the vegetables and fruits that we get in the market, which are unhealthy, Srujana though to cultivate the crops on her own to avoid chemicals. She learnt the techniques from youtube experts and stood as an inspiration to everyone.

Six months back, Srujana started her journey to cultivate crops with a single herb plant is now growing a variety of vegetables. Apart from growing vegetables, she cultivates medicinal plants like lemongrass, cherry tomato and also improving sorghum and boganilla villas in the terrace.

Disgusted with chemicals, she uses natural ready-made kitchen waste as a fertilizer for plants in her terrace. Besides, she uses an organic decoction of organic fruit along with eggplant and biomass as a fertilizer and pest control for growing fruit plants such as banana, mango, dragon fruit, strawberry and red guava in her terrace. On the other hand, Pollution is increasing in cities. Also, there are plenty of chemicals used in the market due to which the ailments are caused.

She says cultivating houseplants organically will not only improve our health but also protects the environment. Due to the high prevalence of chemicals found in the market, it is better to organically grow the orchards to curb the ailments caused by them.
