Layout permissions online, claims Ganni
Rajamahendravaram: Godavari Urban Development Authority (GUDA) chairman Ganni Krishna on Sunday said that steps were taken to achieve self-sufficiency in all fronts and directed the officials to initiate action in this regard.
Addressing surveyors and technicians in Sarvaraya Kala Mandir here on Sunday, he said GUDA was giving permissions online using its own software in the state. Permission was given to three layouts each in Kakinada and Rajamahendravaram. Central lighting was proposed from Acchampeta Junction to Sarpavaram Junction in Kakinada.
GUDA issued licenses to 201 surveyors and they could work anywhere under GUDA jurisdiction and a proposal was sent to government with a request to allot five acres of land near NTR Beach in Kakinada for constructing its own building, he averred.
The officials were directed to find out ways and means to increase its income. The recent study tour to five metros in the country helped the officials to study the development in the respective urban development authorities.
