Minister cleans govt college premises
Tadepalligudem: Endowments Minister Pydikondala Manikyala Rao, informed that steps have been taken to develop DR Goenka Government Degree College in Pentapadu, the first Government College in the district. The Minister participated ina Swachh Bharat programme at DR Goenka Government Degree College on Sunday.
The Minister as part of his tour inspected the college buildings and the compound. He gave suggestions to Principal Manukonda Shyamala Rao on various issues. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that he studied in the college and he would provide all facilities to the college.
He announced that the golden jubilee celebrations of the college would be conducted on a grand note. He also said that he invited Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to the golden jubilee function and after confirming the dates, the celebrations would be held at the college. Later, the Minister took part in Swachh Bharat programme in the college.
NCC cadets, principal, lecturers, local leaders participated in the programme. Sarpanch Suryachandra Kumari, Upa Sarpanch Nallamilli Gopireddy, Municipal former Chairman Dakota Tataji, BJP leaders Veerla Govind, Dattu Prasad, J Praveen, Kondepati Venkateswara Rao and others participated in the programme.
