Eluru: Zilla Parishad chairman Mullapudi Bapiraju has taken strong exception to the allegations of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan against Rural Development Minister Nara Lokesh. He said if Pawan Kalyan did not take back his allegations against Lokesh, he will conduct meetings all over the district and expose the personal affairs of Pawan Kalyan.

The ZP chairman addressed the media at his camp office here on Thursday. He said that the TDP did not get benefitted with Pawan Kalyan. He pointed out that Pawan Kalyan had supported the BJP only and not TDP during last elections. He said that the TDP did not get a single vote in the name of Pawan Kalyan. During general elections, the TDP secured a majority of 20,000 votes out of 50,000 votes and 43 ZPTC memberships. The victory was not of Pawan Kalyan but was the result of efficiency of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, he claimed.

He said that Chandrababu Naidu had welcomed Pawan Kalyan when he met him at Amaravathi with honour. However, the JSP chief made nasty allegations against the TDP leaders and Lokesh. He said that Pawan Kalyan was blaming TDP leaders with the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He questioned that several times Pawan had met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and did not mention the corruption all these times.

Why he now flared up and making allegations against the TDP leaders, he questioned. He questioned Pawan Kalyan whether his brother, being a Rajya Sabha Member, had ever questioned or talked on the Special Category Status (SCS) in the Parliament when all the TDP and other Andhra Pradesh MPs were agitating for the SCS. He said he would tour all mandals in the district during his Padayatra and would explain the development of the district.

ZPTC members Ganta Sudheer Babu, Chalapathi Rao, Nalluri Venkata Chalapati Rao,  Manne Lalita Devi, Eswara Bhanu Vara Prasad participated in the meeting. Later, the ZP chairman cut the cake on the occasion of completion of four years in power by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
