Rahul Gandhi strives for SCS: DCC chief
Kakinada: District Congress president Pantam Nanaji said that the party president, Rahul Gandhi, assured that he would stand for the people of Andhra Pradesh and he would support their fight in securing the Special Category Status in the recently concluded plenary meetings.
Nanaji arranged a press meet at the district Congress Office here on Wednesday and briefed about their party’s plenary meeting highlights.
He said that their party would welcome the steps of other political parties in securing the SCS to AP. He further informed that their leader Rahul Gandhi would put his first signature on the file of SCS to AP, if the Congress wins 2019 elections.
Nulukurthi Venkateswara Rao, Addanki Venkateswara Rao, Pantham Indira, Sabbati Phaneeswara Rao, William Harry and other leaders participated.
