Youth urged to join fight for SCS

Rajamahendravaram: Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar, has advised the youth to come forward with the inspiration of Left parties which fight for the people always. The parties have been fighting for Special Category Status (SCS) from four years.

Releasing the book titled ‘Pratyeka Hoda- Praja Udyamam’ penned by senior journalist Telakapalli Ravi at the Press Club, he said the author mentioned all things relating to SCS briefly in the book, which can bring awareness among the people. 

The author also provided statistical data relating to state and Central governments on funds given and spent, he informed. All political leaders should act as per the majority opinion of the people. At the time of division of the state, all parties opposed it but the Centre divided it. Now, all parties have been demanding SCS, but the Central government was not ready for it. Because of the attitude of political leaders, they had been loosing people’s confidence.

Any government should work as per the wishes of the people, he said. Now, it was the time to work together to get SCS to the state, he added.CPM leader TS Prakash said both the TDP and the YSRCP were wasting time by scolding each other. All the parties should come forward to get SCS to the state, he said.CPM leader T Arun, CPI leader N Rama Rao and others were present.
