Refund deposits of AgriGold victims: CPI

Guntur: CPI state assistant secretary Muppalla Nageswara Rao requested Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to take steps to refund deposits of AgriGold depositors immediately and take a decision in this at the earliest.

He met Naidu on Sunday night and submitted a memorandum to this effect. He urged the CM to take steps to auction the AgriGold properties. He wanted the CM to arrest AgriGold Company chairman Avvari Rama Rao and another four directors immediately. He demanded that the government seize benami properties of the AgriGold Company directors. He stressed on need to do justice to AgriGold depositors.

AgriGold Customers Agents Association president Viswanatha Reddy was also among those who met the CM.
