BJP betrayed AP over SCS, alleges TDP
Rajamahendravaram: Godavari Urban Development Authority (GUDA) chairman Ganni Krishna has said that people will teach a lesson to BJP in the ensuing elections.
Participating in cycle yatra in 14th division here on Thursday, he said that the yatra was aimed at bringing awareness among the people on how Prime Minister Narendra Modi cheated the state for four years.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu believed in the BJP and waited for four years expecting justice to the state. Contrary to the expectations of people, the BJP cheated people by ignoring its promise of providing Special Category Status (SCS), he complained.
As a last resort, the TDP walked out of the NDA, he claimed.He elaborated that in spite of fund crunch, Chandrababu Naidu was running the state as a good administrator.
MLC Adireddy Appa Rao alleged that the BJP leaders were trying to tarnish the image of Chandrababu Naidu with false statements to get political mileage. The BJP leaders were not able to digest the development in the state and resorting to political gimmicks, he criticised.
Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai claimed that the people of the State were behind Chandrababu Naidu and supporting his decisions on alliance.She accused the YSRCP of colluding with the BJP and trying to destabilise the government with false statements.
The party leaders, K Satish, RM Rao and others were present.
