Rajamahendravaram: TDP MLC Adireddy Appa Rao has said no one can touch even the shadow of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and there is no need for him to obey anyone. BJP is trying to tarnish the image of Naidu with false statements, he alleged.

Speaking to reporters at Press Club here on Thursday, he asked the BJP MLC, Somu Virraju to control his tongue before making allegations against the Chief Minister or on TDP government. He challenged Somu Virraju to contest and get elected from any constituency in 2019 elections. Virraju not even win as corporator in local elections.

Elaborating on the SCS, Appa Rao said that the TDP allied with BJP for the interests of the state. After four years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi cheated the people by ignoring SCS. As a result, the TDP had to snap ties with the NDA. Not able to digest the development in the state, the BJP government was making baseless allegations on the government to get political mileage.

MLC Somu Virraju was trying to get party's state president post by scolding others, but in vain. “His party know well about Virraju and his nature. The TDP cannot be a mere spectator, if the BJP leaders continue in mudslinging against the state govermment, he warned.

People were well aware of political developments and they would teach a lesson to the BJP and the YSRCP in the forthcoming elections, he added.
