Tenders of Yeleru phase-II to be opened on May 29

Pithapuram:  Local MLA NVSN Varma has said that tenders for the Yeleru Project phase-II would be opened on May 29. Addressing farmers at the MRO office here on Monday, he said the Phase-I was the result of the TDP fighting for it while in the opposition. 

After commencing the phase-I, there is a marked improvement in the water flow after the execution of the Purushottamapatnam LI Project, he told the farmers. 

The Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, granted Rs 1700 crore for Purushottamapatnam LI project and over Rs 2000 crore to Yeleru Phase-I and Yeleru Phase-II.
