Residents told to make use of Janmabhoomi
Kurnool: City MLA SV Mohan Reddy gave a call to residents to make use of Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru programme for resolving their pending problems.
The MLA launched the fifth phase of Janmabhoomi at 1st division here on Tuesday. Apart from Mohan Reddy, Kurnool Urban Development Authority (KUDA) Chairman Somisetty Venkateswarlu, Kurnool Municipal Corporation Chairman CB Harinath Reddy, Rayalaseema Range Inspector General of Police (IG) Mohammed Iqbal and other district officials took part in the Janmabhoomi. Addressing the gathering, the MLA stated the TD government has been implementing several welfare schemes for the uplift of weaker and downtrodden sections of the society. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has sanctioned 10,000 houses to Kurnool city, he said adding the government is ready to sanction another 10,000 houses.
KUDA chief said that pensions, houses and ration cards would be extended to all eligible persons. Civic body chief made an appeal for residents to join hands for keeping city clean and green. Later, the MLA, IG and Municipal Commissioner have distributed ration cards and Chandranna Bima certificates to the beneficiaries.
