Pelican festival from today

Vijayawada: The stage is set for the annual Pelican Festival at Atapaka village in Kaikaluru mandal in Krishna district from Sunday. District collector B Lakshmikantham said that the arrangements were made for conducting the festival to get international recognition. 

Actor D Venkatesh and music director Vandemataram Srinivas will participate in the event. Music concert, folk dances and sports events would be organised in the festival. Several ministers, MLAs and officials would also be present.
