Jagan’s aim only to come out of cases: Godavari Urban Development Authority chief

Rajamahendravaram: Godavari Urban Development Authority (Guda) chairman Ganni Krishna alleged that YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy was trying to get political mileage by tarnishing the image of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu with baseless allegations.

In a release here on Friday, the Guda chairman said YSRCP president was trying to wriggle out of illegal investment cases by showing his loyalty to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah and was making rounds around the duo in dark.

He criticised Jagan for demanding Special Category Status only, forgetting the remaining 18 assurances given in Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act-2014.

“Jagan is lowering the self-respect of the people of the state and is falling on the feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National president Amit Shah of his selfish interests. The five crore people of the state will teach a fitting lesson to Jaganmohan Reddy in the ensuing elections if he does not stop his baseless allegations against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu,” he said.

YSRCP's proposed no-confidence motion against BJP government was nothing but a political drama, which benefits the BJP government, he said while adding that after no-confidence motion no one should question the government on the subject again on the same issue.
