Protect red sanders trees from smuggling: Suman

Tirupati: Tollywood actor Suman gave a call to people to protect the red sanders trees in forests. He visited the Red Sanders Anti-Smuggling Task Force (RSASTF) office here on Saturday evening. 

Speaking on the occasion, the actor appreciated the RSASTF efforts in prevention of red sanders logs cutting and smuggling from Seshachalam forest. 

He urged the AP and Tamil Nadu governments to create awareness among Malayali tribes for weaning them away from smuggling of red sanders logs. Task Force IG Dr M Kantha Rao, SP Ravisankar, DSPs Harinath and Lakshmi Narayana, and other police officials were present.
