Regularisation of house sites benefit 6L people in cities: KE

Amaravati: The state government has decided to communicate with the people about the progress in all various departments during the last four years. As the government completed four years, all the ministershave been directed by the Chief Minister’s Office to conduct press conferences and explain the people over the achievements of government in various sectors.

As part of it, Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister K E Krishna Murthy said that for the first time, many reforms and IT enabled services were introduced to increase transparency and efficiency in revenue department. As a result, people were able to access services from the departmentsaccurately and speedily.

Krishna Murthy said the issue of dotted lands, which had not been resolved from the British rule, was resolved by the Telugu Desam government recently. Cultivators have been given ownership deeds over their dotted lands. He said the government also regularised house sites in the cities from which 6 lakh people were benefited.   
The government also taken a decision deleting Gramakhantam lands from 22-A of Revenue Act and amended NALA Act to help industrial sector. The government also amended Land Acquisition Act 2013 and sent it to the approval of Union government, he said.

Krishna Murthy said Andhra Pradesh became the first state in the country to integrate land records with the banks for loan charge creation module on the land online, and this project is awarded gold under category -1 “Excellence in Government Process Re-engineering” for the national awards on e-governance-2016-17.

He said the state also became first in completing Aadhaar linking of pattadars in land records, implementation of e-Panta, completing geo-tagging of each land parcel in the state, giving access to public to view and print the land records online through Meebhoomi web portal and achieving maximum number of goals under Digital India Land Records Modernisation Programme. The CCLA Office has received ISO 9001:2015certificate for e-governance activities in2018.

Under MeeSeva service, the public got access to 65 services for getting information on land records and certificates. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu launched this service through MeeSeva on August 4, 2017. Pattadar passbooks can be taken from the MeeSevakiosk centres with e-KYC of the pattadar with 10security features.

Android app “Bhusodhak” is provided to know the genuineness of title deed-cum-Pattadar Passbook taken from MeeSeva with QR code scanner, developed specifically for Revenue Department. “This module has been awarded with SKOCH Award under Technology for Growth-2017,” Krishna Murthy said. Under initiative of computerisation of land records, digitisation of FMBs of 48.61 lakhs has been taken up and entrusted to APSAC of which 42.49 lakhs FBMs have been digitised so far, he said.
