3-yr jail term for ganja smuggler

Vijayawada: The Vijayawada Metropolitan Sessions Court sentenced Sirpangi Isac to three years imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 here on Tuesday. According to Krishna Lanka police, Isac was arrested by SI Murali on February 5, 2017 at Ranigari Thota for carrying four kg ganja.

Seven witnesses were produced by the prosecution headed by deputy director Susila Gopal.  Crime SI G Srinivas said that Isac was proved guilty and was sentenced to three years imprisonment and was imposed a fine of Rs 5,000.
