Make Navanirmana Deeksha a success, officials told

Guntur: District Collector Kona Sasidhar directed the officials to take steps to make the Navanirmana Deeksha to be held at village-level from June 2 to 8 a success.

He addressed a videoconference at the Collectorate here on Saturday and reviewed the arrangements. 

Speaking on this occasion, he urged the officials to administer oath of Navanirmana Deeksha to the people and explain about it. 

He further said that the Central government did injustice to the state at the time of the bifurcation of the state and failed to keep up assurances given at the time of the bifurcation of the state. 

He urged the officials to explain injustice meted out to the state by the Centre clearly.

To make the fourth Navanirmana Deeksha a success, he said, he had been appointing in-charges. 

He instructed the officials to prepare a detailed plan to make it a success.

He directed the officials to make arrangements so that people could watch Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu meeting on the screens.

He directed them to explain welfare programmes being implemented by the government during this one week and Meekosam to solve problems of the people.
