Free health camps receive good response in Guntur

Guntur: The Hans India conducted free medical camp in Guntur city on the occasion of International Day of Action for Women’s Health on Monday. Oncologists, gynecologist, diabetologists, dentists and orthopedicians conducted tests and gave free medicines.

Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences Principal Dr Lingamaneni Krishna Prasad inaugurated the dental camp set up at Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences in Takkellapadu.

Speaking on the occasion, he urged the needy to avail the facility provided by The Hans India and said they were giving free screening and consultation services besides giving free medicines. He felt there was need to conduct health camps in the villages to create awareness about health. 

Dr P Revathi conducted free dental checkup at a health camp conducted in Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences. Speaking on the occasion, she felt the health camps would create awareness among women on their health. Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences Director T Krishna Prasad, chief coordinator of health camp Dr Linagamaneni Subba Rao were present. Over 100 patients were given free medicines in the camp. 

Dr T Seva Kumar inaugurated free health camp set up by The Hans India at Service Health Organization at Brodipet in Guntur city on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, he said women should take care of their heath.

He congratulated The Hans India for conducting free medical camps on the occasion of International Day of Action for Women’s Health and felt that there was need to conduct health camps for poor.

Later, surgical oncologist Routhu Sreedhar conducted free cancer screening tests. Gynaecologist D Padma conducted screening tests for women related problems. 

Dietician K V Santasri addressed the women on how to improve diet for sound health. Dr Koteswara Rao conducted diabetic screening tests and urged the women to do physical exercises regularly for good health. 

Responding to publicity in The Hans India, Helen Fernandez, 73, who came to Service Health Organization at Brodipet in Guntur city for health check-up, said paper publicity motivated her to attend the medical camp. She said this kind of health camps are useful to public and thanked The Hans India for conducting free health camp as a social responsibility. Over 80 patients attended the medical camp.

A free health camp conducted at M N Hospital by Gynaecologist Dr D Nalini Devi under the aegis of The Hans India. Speaking on the occasion, she said there was need to conduct more such heath camps for poor. She congratulated The Hans India for conducting free health camp including ECG and other tests for women. She said the health camps will increase awareness among women.

Dr Nalinidevi conducted tests and gave free medicines to patients.Over 15 needy people availed the camp. Dr Naveen Guntutpalli conducted various tests to patients at a free health camp conducted at AVR Clinic at Amaravati in Guntur city. Speaking on the occasion, he urged the patients to avail the facility provided by the The Hans India.

He said that there was need to bring health awareness among rural people. Over 12 needy people availed the health check camp. Dr K Sarada conducted free heath checkup at KNR Hospitals at Anjaneyapet in Guntur city.

Speaking on the occasion, she said there was need to create awareness among women on health issues and felt there was need to conduct free health camps in rural areas. She conducted tests to 16 patients and distributed free medicines.

Dr P Sitaram Prasad conducted free health checkup to the women at a free health camp conducted at Srirama Hospital in Guntur city. Speaking on the occasion, he said that there was need to conduct free health camps and thanked The Hans India for conducting health camps.

Over 25 needy patients attended the camp. Mary Dayamani, a patient, said the free medical camps would be useful to poor and stressed on need to conduct more such camps.

The Hans India Circulation officer Cherukuri Subba Rao, senior advertisement manager B T S Prasad, assistant circulation officer G Veerabadhara Rao were among those participated.
