APCCIF office opened in city

Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (APCCIF) opened its Visakhapatnam zonal office here on Tuesday. Inaugurating the office, Alok Dwivedi, Deputy  Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), said indeed it is good beginning and it would facilitate issuing of Certificate of Origin to the trade and industry.

On the occasion, the General Manager, District Industries Centre, A Ramalingeswar Rao, appreciated the AP Chambers for taking up the issues concerning Ease of Doing Business at the State and Central level. Indeed, it is worth informing that some of the suggestions were widely accepted and implemented at the State and Central government level, he added.

G Sambasiva Rao, President, AP Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation, said that the long term vision is to have a own office. A beginning has been made for the trade and industry to have a place to discuss about issues and to come forward with benchmark solutions. The office would open till 9 pm for issuing the Certificate of Origin, he added. Pydah Krishna Prasad, Chairman, K Kumar Raja and M Sudhir, Vice-Chairmen of the federation, also present.
