Meet on career guidance held
Vijayawada: The Mathematics department of Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala (SMK) and Right Computers jointly organised a workshop on career guidance on the college premises on Tuesday.
Addressing the gathering, the college director Dr T Vijayalakshmi said that career guidance was very important for the three years of degree students to reach their goals in life.
The college principal Dr M Nalini said that students should search and explore new avenues to achieve success in their career.
Right Computers head Syed Basha explained the techniques on how to use the constantly changing technology to the students.
He explained the need of job to women and how to work part time while pursuing education. He said that software jobs will be ideal for women and briefed about campus recruitment training (CRT).
Shaik Sharifuddin of Inspire Academy briefed the techniques to face competitive exams (Arithmetic, Reasoning, Mental Ability and English Vocabulary) and how to face interviews and key points to prepare resume.
MD Younis of Ayra Solutions explained the techniques to get selected in campus interviews.
He said students should be good at technical skills, communication skills, spoken English to get through campus interviews.
