Surprise checks in Guntur Social Welfare Hostels by Vigilance and Enforcement Department

Guntur: The Vigilance and Enforcement department officials conducted surprise checks in the Social Welfare department hostels in the district on Wednesday. 

Following orders of the Regional Vigilance Enforcement Officer Sobha Manjari, they conducted surprise checks. 

They inspected the facilities and infrastructure in the hostels and enquired about distribution of school uniform and books to the students.

Vigilance Circle Inspector Anthony and DCTO Srinivasa Rao inspected hostels in Ponnur city. 

The students said that they received uniforms and books and complained that they had only seven rooms for 120 students. 

They informed that the hostel has invertor facility. The VE officials said that they will submit a report to the higher officials. 

Similarly, the VE officials conducted surprise checks in the Social Welfare hostels in Macherla, Repalle, Tenali and Sattenapalli towns.
