Former MP YV Subba Reddy to take up yatra in Veligonda from Aug 10
##BIG-IMAGE#Ongole: The Ongole former MP, YV Subbareddy announced that on behalf of the YSR Congress Party, that he would be taking up a tour in Veligonda project area to create awareness in the public about the failures of the state government.
In a press meet held at his residence, Subbareddy came down heavily on the chief minister and the state government on the failures of completion of projects, and keeping promises made to the district.
Responding to the Chandrababu Naidu’s reiteration of the promises made to the district earlier in the Dharma Poratam meeting, the MP wanted to know how could the CM complete the work first tunnel of Veligonda project in just six months of time that he failed to do in the last four years.
He said that the chief minister is playing politics with the lives of fluoride affected people in the western area, by not cooperating for the completion of Veligonda project.
He asked the CM, if he is really committed for the development of the district why didn’t he wrote a letter to the central government recommending Ramayapatnam all these years after Dugarajapatnam is announced nonviable.
He said that there is deficit of rain for 47.7 percent and the responsibility of the government is not just limited to announce 50 mandals as drought hit, but it should see the farmers get benefits under Fasal Bima Yojana.
He advised the CM to show him commitment and honesty by completing the Gundlakamma, Korisapadu lift irrigation, Sangameswara projects on war footing.
He also flayed down that the government is failed to respond though the union government announced to establish NIMA at Kanigiri, bring even single industry to Donakonda industrial corridor, complete the four railway over bridges and establish the ESI hospital already approved by the central government.
He said that the BJP and TDP are colluded together to divide the public by regional differences and that is why they are talking about Vadarevu port, when the public are demanding Ramayapatnam major port.
He announced that the YSRCP welcome the government if they could construct two ports. He also said that the parliament session exposed the relation between the BJP and TDP and proved they took U turn on the special status category to the state.
The YSRCP leaders Chunduri Ravi Babu, D Kranthi Kumar, KV Ramana Reddy, Y Venkateswara Rao, Karnati Prasad and others also participated in the press meet.
