Rajamahendravaram: BJP MLC and party’s State Election Committee convenor Somu Veerraju urged Governor ESL Narasimhan to find ways to sack AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

Addressing media conference at Press Club here on Friday, he said Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is busy in trading instead of ruling in the state. He termed Chandrababu Naidu as a liar and king of corruption.

“Because of the attitude of Chief Minister, development in the state was hampered and he is blaming Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this regard to escape from his failure,’’ Veerraju alleged.

``Chandrababu Naidu obtained permissions from the Central government in 2015 for construction of Green Field Airports at  Bhogapuram, Kurnool and Nellore and created Bhogapuram International Airport Corporation Limited (BIACL).

Later, tenders were invited and Airports Authority of India (AAI) also participated, but the State government cancelled the tenders. Now Chandrababu invited short tenders by fixing rules in favour of a private company i.e. GMR and to avoid participation of AAI,’’ the BJP leader stated.

To what extent it is correct to handover thousands of acres of land to GMR which was purchased with people's money? he added. Crores of rupees of Central government funds were misused and a complaint was sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this regard, he said.
BJP leaders GC Babu, AR Krishna and others were present.
