CM to lay stone for IIIT tomorrow
Kanigiri: Prakasam District Collector Vadarevu Vinaychand ordered the officials to make arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit to Pamuru on August 7 to lay foundation to APJ Abdul Kalam IIIT at Dubagunta village.
The Collector visited the proposed 208 acres of land for IIIT at Dubagunta along with the Kanigiri MLA Kadiri Baburao and said that the Chief Minister will lay foundation stone to the college and inaugurate a pylon before proceeding to the venue of public meeting.
He said that the CM will interact with the students and locals and speak at the public meeting. The Collector advised the police and related departments on the security aspects of the Chief Minister and assured the local MLA that foolproof arrangements will be done for the visit of the Chief Minister.
Additional Joint Collector D Markandeyulu, Assistant Collector T Nisanthi, DRDA PD MS Murali, Kandukur RDO G Mallikharjuna, Markapuram RDO K Penchala Kishore, RWS SE Sanjeeva Reddy, fisheries JD Balaramaiah, Kanigir, Pamuru tahsildars and other officials also participated in the programme.
