Lifting of ban on seer demanded
Chittoor: The banning of spiritual guru Swamy Paripoornananda by Telangana Police is highly regrettable and all the Hindus should condemn the act of Telangana government, says C V Subba Rao, state president , Progressive Brahmins Association (PBA). It is a shameful act by the Telangana government, he describes.
Unless , Telangana Government withdrew the order of externment against the seer unconditionally, state wide agitation would be initiated, he cautioned. Speaking to The Hans India here on Monday, Subba Rao has made it clear that the patience of the Hindus of Telangana and AP states has been exhausted awaiting a positive move from Telangana state Government.
`` TS Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has to answer what offence did the seer Swamy Paripoornananda commit and on what grounds Swamy was prohibited from entering the state,’’ he asked. He appealed all the members of Brahmin community to wear black badges from Wednesday onwards to protest against the shameful act on Hindu seers.
He urged AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to exercise his powers to ensure justice to the swamiji. He said that he would meet AP BJP President Kanna Lakshminarayana shortly to convince Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking suitable step in this sensitive issue.
Subba Rao further said that Hindu Religion has extreme tolerance in respecting all the religions .The district unit of Viswa Hindu Parishad staged dharna here on Monday in protest of TS government’s anti-Hindu attitude and demanding the lifting of ban on the seer. Subba Rao and others participated in the agitation.
