CPI asks govt to buy AgriGold assets

Vijayawada: The CPI State committee submitted a new proposal to the State government in AgriGold case. CPI State secretary K Ramakrishna wrote a letter to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday and urged him to see that the government departments purchased AgriGold assets.
The State government should buy the assets by paying amounts to the deposit holders, the CPI proposed. He alleged that the AgriGold management floated 87 sister concern companies for looting thousands of crores of public money. He suggested to the Chief Minister to take immediate action for conducting auction of AgriGold assets.
