Units making fire crackers inspected by Sarpavaram CI DS Chaitanya Krishna in Kakinada

 Kakinada:  The Sarpavaram police in Kakinada Rural taken up inspection of safety measures in fire cracker making units in the area. 

The issue attained significance in the wake of forthcoming Diwali season.

Circle inspector DS Chaitanya Krishna visited the making units at Gaogolupadu, FCI Colony and Kalavagattu area in Kakinada Rural on Saturday. 

The CI apart from verifying the license for making crackers, looked into safety measures, number of employees, safety measures at stock points  in the  particular unit  besides the chemicals used in the making of the fire crackers.

The makers were advised to implement the safety measures strictly.  Chaitanya Krishna warned of action according to law if any violations were noticed in the cracker making  units.
