CPM State leader Ch Babu Rao demands pattas, houses to poor
Vijayawada: CPM State leader Ch Babu Rao, participated in a group meeting at Rajarajeswaripeta here on Sunday, demanding that the government issue house pattas and allow registration for the residents.
Babu Rao blamed the government for the delay in the process of issuing the pattas and permit registration to beneficiaries even though the TDP was in power at the municipal corporation.
He said the government had cheated the people by collecting Rs 500 from the public as application fee.
He further said that the government had promised to give houses to the homeless and poor. It was deceiving the people for the last four years without giving houses.
He said that CPM would support the people to bring pressure on the government to speed-up the work and issue pattas and complete registration process, apart from distribution of houses to the homeless.
CPM city secretary D Vishnu, members T Praveen, T Srinu, D Ramana, Nagaraju and others were present.
