Awareness rally on road safety organised in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: City Police Commissioner Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao flagged off an awareness walk on road safety organised by MJ Naidu Hospital here on Tuesday. 

The rally was organised to mark the hospital’s 32nd anniversary. It started from Benz Circle and reached MJ Naidu Hospital at Suryaraopet here.

Addressing the gathering, the Commissioner complimented the hospital management for organising the awareness walk on road safety. 

He said that everyone should follow traffic rules and wear helmet and tighten seat belt while driving to avoid accidents. 

He appealed to everyone to follow traffic signals and greeted Dr MJ Naidu and Madhavi on the hospital anniversary.

Dr Naidu said that most of the road accidents happen due to lack of awareness on road safety. 

Hospital management, staff and denizens participated in large number.
