Kakinada will be developed as smart city: Deputy CM N Chinarajappa
Kakinada: Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa said that Kakinada will soon be developed as tourist place.
Participating in the inauguration of developmental works taken up with a cost of Rs 8.18 crore at Vivekananda Park (Raja Tank) here on Saturday, Chinarajappa said that Kakinada has all the potentiality to develop on par with Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati as smart city.
On this occasion the Deputy CM said that the Beach Park will be developed with a cost of Rs 46 crore.
The Raja tank and Mahatma Gandhi Park are added to the places of tourist spots, he said.
Chinarajappa also said that as part of smart city development roads, parks drains, public places are being developed under the smart city in Kakinada.
Vedic scholar Chaganti Koteswara Rao appreciated the installation of statue of Dokka Seetamma who provided free feeding for several years in East Godavari.
Kakinada rural MLA, P. Anantalakshmi, city MLA V. Venkateswara Rao and others participated.
